#MyReasonWhyDE is a youth-driven substance abuse prevention program designed to equip young people with the skills, knowledge, and awareness to make healthy choices. Through engaging media and in-person advocacy, youth explore and strengthen their unique protective factors, empowering them to share their reasons for substance-free living and inspire their peers to do the same.

How to Get Involved
Book A PSA Booth
Enhance your next community event with this walk-in activity that lets youth create on-the-spot PSA videos. Let youth step into the spotlight unlocking their power of influence, practicing civic engagement, and sparking ongoing advocacy sharing their "Reason Why" they choose to stay substance-free.
Become A Facilitator
Get professional training to facilitate the #MyReasonWhyDE workshop in a 2-3 hour session, scheduled at your convenience, either online or in person. As a facilitator, you'll receive a comprehensive facilitator’s guide with resources and ongoing support, including help with video editing and posting.
Host A Youth Workshop
The #MyReasonWhyDE live workshop (45- 90 mins) combines social-emotional learning, prevention tools, and peer-to-peer leadership. Participants (ages 12-18) create PSA videos sharing their "Reason Why" they stay substance-free on social media.
